As of right now, it technically still IS possible, but requires additional legwork. I am working on a simple solution to make renaming the module very easy. Please look for that in new versions.

Mike, it's great to know you're working on QDrupal again! I've been using Qdrupal ever since the initial release and so far I have built more than 10 websites based on it. I'm really pleased to see this project updated =)
One question, though. Is it still possible to rename the module as in the previous version?
