Based on a few bug reports from the QDrupal release earlier this week, I've fixed, tagged and cut a new release of QDrupal for Drupal 6. Thanks to everyone who has submitted bug reports!

I came across these demo's of TileCache, a component in an open source GIS application I'm working on. If you've ever wanted to see maps of all 32 original Super Mario Bro's levels, this site is for you.

BONUS: It's also got maps for The Legend of Zelda, Zelda a Link to the Past and a few others! So cool.

Wubi - Ubuntu Installer in 2 steps

This cracked me up. A friend sent me the link to the new Wubi Installer for Ubuntu. Wubi is an unofficial 1-click Ubuntu Installer for Windows Users.

The greatest part is this image. Step 1, Select a new password. Step 2, Click Install. Step 3, There is no step 3. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Great article about the state of monolithic PHP applications and the pain they create. I'd like to think that QDrupal tries to do this, using Qcodo and Drupal as a base instead of more general applications.

Silverlight is a compact (4MB) runtime of the .NET framework that is designed to run in IE, Firefox and Safari. No Linux support yet.
