crowd favorite

The past few months have brought many changes to my life. As I've blogged about before, I am a new father!!! My daughter was born in December 2007. In addition, today I'm announcing that I have founded a new consulting company, A Mountain Top, LLC, and will be leaving the ranks of Crowd Favorite.

This is an exciting opportunity for me. Alex has been very gracious and we are parting as friends.

A Mountain Top, LLC will be focused on jQuery, Qcodo and Drupal. If you have a project, or are thinking of starting a project using any of these technologies, we'd love to hear from you!

After a couple of weeks of preparation, I'm happy to annouce that starting August 1st, 2007, I'll be joining Crowd Favorite full-time.

This is a very exciting move for me. I've known Alex for over three years now, but haven't had the opportunity to work with him until now. I'll also be joining Eric, who started at Crowd Favorite a few months back.

I expect to be a very good kind of busy in the coming months.

I've started using Tasks Pro to keep track of my ToDo items around my house. I've used Tasks Pro off and on for work items for almost 3 years now and I'm wondering why I didn't do this before.

My wife and I follow the GTD principles "loosely". We first write all the items down in a notebook, then enter them into a local, 1-user copy of Tasks Pro. At this point, my wife asked if we could print out the list and stick it on the fridge. Great idea!

Unfortunately, Tasks Pro didn't have a nice print stylesheet. Given an hour on a lazy Sunday afternoon, this was easily fixed.  read more »
